Pupil dilation, a physiological response to impending death, mirrors the opposing societal reactions to global challenges.

Just as relaxed muscles allow for pupil dilation, a sense of resignation and apathy can lead individuals to withdraw from the world, their eyes wide open yet unresponsive to the turmoil around them.

On the other hand, the surge of anger and extremism observed in certain segments of society can be seen as analogous to the release of neurotransmitters that also cause pupil dilation in preparation for death. This surge of emotions like fear, frustration, and resentment can drive individuals towards radical ideologies, their eyes burning with an intensity that mirrors the physiological effects of these neurotransmitters.
