Arctic sea ice continues to retreat further inland, creating new opportunities for oil drilling. And California continues into its mega-drought, causing us to extend our pumps hundreds of feet further, depleting precious aquifers.
As documents and interviews uncover that, as early as 1977, ExxonMobil, one of the world’s largest oil companies, knew its main product would heat up the planet disastrously, we are discovering how far fossil fuel companies have gone to cover up what they have known for decades about the effects their industry is having on the environment.
