Will the thoughts for which we cultivate in our heads become a data stream for all to discover?
Many experts believe we are rapidly heading to a point where your brain and my brain can become seamlessly connected to the cloud. The term, Brain Computer Interface (BCI) is a real thing and billions of dollars on both the government side and the private side of funding are going into this research.
With companies like Neuralink, Facebook, Kernel, and DARPA leading the way, it is only a matter of time before we’re able to control things with our minds using brain computer interfaces, even communicate to each other just using our minds.
While this has the capability to help us increase our cognitive connectivity and intelligence, will it allow us to increase our social connection? I believe it is important to grow as individuals before implementing technology to the masses.
