If we had the ability to teleport into 2050, what would we find?

How will we interact in our future societies? Will we discover the ultimate meaning of life? Who will we become? Why is this moment in time more critical than ever to ask these questions?

We have a window in time to raise our consciousness, our human intelligence. Because technology is increasing at light speed, a crippled collective mental state could lead us to an unwanted future we unintentionally helped create.

Two things to consider:

First, we must realize that technology is an extension of us. It’s not man against machine but rather man is in the machine.

Secondly, we are all parents now. The Global Brain, the manifestation of massive collections of AIs, is waking up. And it wants to do two things. 1) Collect as much data as fast as possible. 2) Feed us what it thinks we want based on the data we give to it. Unfortunately, this approach could dull our consciousness and continue to put us in our bias feedback loops and reality silos.

We can leverage a system that is programmed to give us what we want. All we must do is shift our focus away from fear into wonder. Focus on helping others first and keep learning…every day.

The best way to predict the future is to create it. And that’s what we are going to do. Refocusing on bigger questions will find us on a bigger quest.
