The controversy surrounding the 2024 U.S. presidential election has intensified, with candidates employing increasingly divisive moral rhetoric to appeal to their bases.
Many of Trump’s supporters, while not necessarily liking him and varying in their admiration, see him as a necessary "Boogie Man"—a controversial figure they believe is essential to combat what they perceive as the evils of a corrupt government.

But this month Trump and his allies have ramped up their rhetoric to alarming levels, reminiscent of the darkest chapters in history. Their claims of widespread voter fraud and threats to jail political opponents are not just baseless but dangerous projections of their own intentions.

When Trump and his allies accuse others of cheating or rigging the election, it's hard not to see it as a reflection of their own strategies and intentions. This psychological projection serves to muddy the waters between fact and fiction, making it increasingly difficult for citizens to discern reality from propaganda.
