While the media giant used its typical tactics to distract the public from damning evidence against it, the firing of Tucker Carlson is their likely scapegoat, and a sign that a more stealthy approach is coming.
However, splitting ways with Tucker is like cutting off the head of a serpent just to have it grow two heads that strike each other. It’s likely he shouts louder from his own platform to fan the flames of his far-right ideology and conspiracy theories, fueling more division when Americans need unity and cooperation the most.
