As we take in the realities around our changing climate, it seems an overwhelming majority of us choose to internalize a convincing short-term, short-sighted case of denial.
I don�t believe this is selfishness but rather a deep ingrained coping mechanism. We must not bow to the apathy of despair but rather live through hope and deeper connections with each other. When we can physically sit with someone and feel their presence we can begin to realize the magic of life in a world we are trying to disconnect from in order to maintain our sanity.
